Meet our board certified family nurse practitioner, Valarie Chambless! Valarie is a graduate of Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Arlington. She brings over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. Her experience includes emergency nursing, family practice, and urgent care. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2022 at the University of Texas at Arlington, which is the highest degree awarded in nursing. She is also a nursing instructor for the Associate Degree in Nursing program at Trinity Valley Community College. She is a member of the East Texas Nurse Practitioner Association.
Growing up in a rural community, Valarie always understood the meaning of "it takes a village." During her nursing career, she has worked in mostly rural areas to give back to the immediate and surrounding communities. Realizing the lack of healthcare for Texans, she decided to continue her education in advanced nursing as a nurse practitioner to increase access to quality care.
Valarie aims to empower patients with the tools they need to engage actively in their healthcare journey. She believes that trust between patients and their providers is foundational to a healthy healthcare partnership, valuing each relationship with her patients and their families.
